Topic: Social Media
So my first rant like post will be centered around social media. Social media was introduced not so long ago, this fresh and innovative way of communication is widespread. Someone you may have met traveling in Oshkosh, Wisconsin can be a friend of yours virtually while you reside in Delaware. The pros and positive goal was accomplished in that friends are brought together, relatives on distant terms are reconnected. However, negatives are also achieved with social media. On certain websites a miscommunication can be developed, a miscommunication that is only able to be saved by a face to face confrontation. The introduction of messaging and texting gives people a certain confidence. A confidence to say things they have kept quiet for so long to people they are afraid of. This online confrontation removes any face to face fears one may have. So is social media's rule at complete fault for broken friendships, weakened relationships and cyber chaos?

About this blog
For the year of 2014 my resolution or goal is to write more. I have no specific topic I wish to write about. Frankly, I just want to get my thoughts on paper, or in the digital age case-a word document. I decided the only way I could get to writing was through a blog. I am in no place to buy a domain, considering I don't know how. I know no one will find this blog most likely but the writing is for me. I hope to look back at this writing and think about how I've grown...or vice versa. The title is not as witty or original as others, but I wasn't really going for that. My URL: claraouttyped.com comes from Clara (my name) and out-typed is a play on the word outspoken. I like to think of myself as a bit outspoken, in the nicest, non-concieted way possible. However this isin't me speaking to you this is me typing and I guess I had to throw that in there. I wish I could fall under some cliche and write in a journal but in this day and age journals are obsolete. I also have no patience to hand write. Or the decent hand writing in general...Well if anyone does come across this blog, this is my thoughts hitting the web.
